34th Street, NYC, Blue Intersections, and Bala Cynwood, PA, are all finalists in Gallery Ring’s Abstracts2020 Exhibition.
An aerial view that looks down on 34th in Manhattan. The flattening of the picture plane reduces the details to graphic shapes, using more pattern and grid than representation. The multiple stripes are graphic interpretations of the roofs.

Rouen, Normandy received a Special Merit award fromLight Space & Time Gallery in their CityScapes Exhibition.
The architecture and houses are vibrant in color and typical of parts of Normandy with the building styles and roofs. The painting captures the moment, and lets the image tell the story about this city without showing any people.

Polish Campus was selected to be exhibited in the 2020 Members Invitational at Equity Gallery, 245 Broome Street, NYC
Aerial view of a prison complex. The architecture and building colors are vibrant in color because of my choice and not typical of prisons. By eliminating the details, the landscape is more graphic than representational.
